The MSA 2060 is the 6th generation of the HPE MSA Storage Array family of products. This model is equipped with many technologies by HPE to increase hard disk fault tolerance, increase operational performance, improve recovery time after failure, and is capable of supporting 18TB SAS 7.2K HDD

Equipped with 2 active/active controllers with common communication ports such as FC, SAS, iSCSI; up to 24G cache capacity (read/write) along with 3250,000 IOPS performance (up 45% compared to Gen5) helps MSA 2060 operate smoothly, reducing system latency

In terms of storage capacity, MSA2060 also brings respectable parameters with a size of only 2U: capable of accommodating 24 2.5-inch drives or 12 3.5-inch drives; the ability to expand up to 9 enclosures brings the total storage capacity up to 921.6TB for a 2.5-inch drive or 2.16PB for a 3.5-inch drive

MSA 2060 is also equipped with valuable software such as Thin Provisioning, Tiering, Snapshot, Volume Copy

This product also supports Virtual Storage Disk Groups with the following features: Virtual Storage Disk Groups can be created on multiple Virtual Storage enclosures that support RAID: 1, 5, 6, 10, MSA-DP+

HPE also announced the OS supported on MSA 1060 such as: MS Window Server 2016, MS Window Server 2019, VMWare, Red Hat Linux, SuSE SLES Linux, and Citrix XenServer
